Denny K. White


Denny White has thirty-five years of diversified experience, including title insurance, commercial and multifamily real estate closings, commercial real estate and consumer lending, commercial bank branch operations, marketing, personnel training and management, loan workout, strategic planning and the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Denny was previously employed in the Washington, D.C. and Tyson’s Corner, Virginia areas before coming to work for Lenhart Obenshain in 2006. He is a native of the Shenandoah Valley and currently lives in Mount Crawford, Virginia, with his life partner, Greg. Denny spends his leisure time reading, playing the piano and caring for the numerous four-legged friends that he and his partner have rescued over the years.


  • Organized and implemented the closing coordination of national sales initiatives for the FDIC/RTC of real estate and loan assets with a BV in excess of $13 billion
  • Coordinated settlement for the purchase/sale of bulk multi-state commercial real estate transactions and the related financing
  • Oversaw a transaction settlement coordination assistance contract, including the supervision and training of 12 contracting staff
  • Searched title and prepared title commitment/policies for commercial real estate transactions
  • Served on task groups formed to establish procedures for accounting of bulk sales, seller financing initiatives, and the transfer and conversion of servicing for loans sold in bulk sales
  • Developed and implemented the central filing system utilized by the FDIC/RTC National Sales Center.
  • Originated and analyzed commercial and multi-family construction loans, and presented loans to Loan Committee for approval
  • Managed operations and personnel for a branch of a major commercial bank
