Cathy Welsh discussed the latest changes in employment law — both at the state and federal level — at the Society for Human Resources Management’s Shenandoah Valley Chapter’s monthly meeting in June. This particular meeting focused more on Virginia state law changes as many new employment laws were passed in the 2026 General Assembly Session.

Cathy is Legislative Chair for SVSHRM and gives an employment law update to the Chapter annually.
