Steve Shashy to Present “Accrual and Unusual Punishment: Federal Tax Crimes, Substance and Procedure”

On April 29, 2026, Steve will be giving a two-hour presentation on federal tax crimes as part of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association’s CLE programming  (CLE credit approval pending).  Steve’s presentation will highlight the ongoing relevance of federal tax crimes, specific legal and strategic issues—including constitutional issues—related to particular federal tax crimes, and an overview of federal tax crime investigations.  The presentation will be held at the Charlottesville General District Court from 4:00-6:00 PM.

The Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association is a not-for-profit professional association established to preserve and improve the local legal profession and its services to the people of the Charlottesville-Albemarle community.  Many Flora Pettit attorneys have held leadership positions in CABA or supported the organization in other ways.
