Independent Contractors have gone the way of the dinosaurs and are extinct; at least as far as the IRS, Virginia Department of Taxation, DOL and NLRB are concerned. Cathy will meet with the American Subcontractors Association of the Shenandoah Valley and discuss why state and federal agencies have become so disdainful of independent contractor status and what businesses can do to protect themselves from misclassification problems.
